Another Blessed Day

Arise my love, it's time to get up,
The coffee is ready, I've poured you a cup.

It's crisp outside, with a gentle breeze,
It's making a song with the rustling leaves.

Thank you my sweetest friend,
Get up now and take my hand.

I'll take your coffee to the front porch swing,
The blanket on the couch you might want to bring.

Together we'll sit on the swing and sway,
The Lord has given us this beautiful day.

The squirrels are gathering their nuts to hide,
For they know winter is almost nigh.

Sitting there with your endearing charm,
Snuggle closer I'll keep you warm.

My love for you will stay strong to the end,
Not only are you my wife, you're my best friend.
