I'm gazing at the sky
Admiring the clouds and
the shapes they take on
Watching all the different
birds soar high and low
Light as a feather they are
yet I feel as though I
could ride on their wings
and go for the flight of my life
Graceful and sure they soar
on and on
The sky takes on such
amazing colors
Light blues, dark blues
tinges of orange and red
Flecks of purple and pink
Whether the sun be rising
or setting
Clear skies or rainy days
It's full of life and peace
When it has snow coming
from an open cloud and all
you can see around you is
white pillowy skies,
It's beauty takes on a life so
rich and so magical that
it takes your very breath away
The peace that comes from
the heavens way up high
The mystery of the sky
Whether in a desert or
on the tip top of a mountain peak
So peaceful, yet it's so vibrant
with life
Amazing that beyond it is
an open and dark space
With twinkling stars and
a sun that shines so very bright
The heavens go on and on
Never ending blue
I gaze at it whether sad
or happy, good day or bad day
The sky is ever faithful to
Fill the heart and lift 
the spirit

God is amazing and so brilliant a creator. I love nature and all it offers.
