Is it the blush of pink

when two lovers first kiss?

Or the glittering gold

of treasures their two hearts hold?

What is the color of your heart?

What is the color of my heart?

It isn’t the color of sky-blue eyes,

Or rosy cheeks,

Or golden hair,

Or ruby-red lips,

Or pearl-like skin smooth and fair.

The color of my heart is more than these;
