Still thinking about this friend... Another write just for her

Why Must You Cry

4-15-04

When I see how you hurt

It hurts me too

And I can’t help but

Ask God why

Why must someone,

Who’s heart is filled with

Love and compassion,

For everything living

Suffer under such a load

Of sorrow and pain?

Why must you cry out

In anguish?

While watching your abilities

Slip away

Everyone around you is

Left shaking their heads

And wondering when

will this madness end

You shake you fists at the sky

And scream “It’s not fair!”

And I find myself doing

The same on your behalf

You somehow manage to live your life

And not let what you can’t control hold you back

At least not for very long

An inspiration you too you meet

Your loving nature captures every heart

Sarah,

Very soulful write. If… Maybe just maybe… in our lifetime all the unnecessary suffering will just disappear. If… Fantastic write. Bravo!!!

Best of luck to you and yours,
