Sightless Wonders

by T. A. Cline — Read all 19 poems by T. A. Cline

The beauty, wisdom, and the greatness of mothers. Their steadfast love.

Sunday, May 10, 2020

Sightless Wonders

Shades of terror seldom seen,

Thru the eyes of beauties queen.

Sorrows never lest we weep,

She protects us though we sleep.

Hearts throb quickly through the night,

Blues and yellows soar in flight.

She comes quickly with her smile,

To comfort our souls for a while.

She keeps away the evil bliss,

Golden honey this perfect miss.

Paternal wisdom around her glows,

Sightless wonders on one knows.

I believe the beauty of mothers we don't have to see. But it made me remember the Beatles song, Mother Mary. And what a beautiful song it was.

"Speaking words of wisdom… Let it be… Let it be… Let it be."
