“A Vessel On”
A true face of a poet’s picture:
Navigator of the sea of words,
A sublime verse closing a sonnet…
A prophet and a semaphore…
A firefly in the nights of life,
A rudder on the ship of art;
A golden rhyme of Mother Poet,
A green bough of the tree of beauty;
A flower in the vase of creation,
And a true soldier of enmuseheaven... (*)
Vessel on the ocean of the verb
Enriching with foam waves of language
On the route to imagination,
Navigating by shores of dreams.
(*) Of celestial Muses.

Words are slippery and putting them together
from flotsam of the mind,
is the poets task.

Vessel, waves: ocean, foam: verb, language: of the, enriching.
At times it is not the whole poem which inspires, even as it does, it's the moments of life caught in interpretation that makes a poem a pleasure/teacher/wonder/ever.
