The meeting between two distant lovers...
Once Again © Jaimey Perham 10/22/2010 You made me so happy I could not contain My love for you when you stopped by my domain Unfortunately at that time I was tired and ill Sick from the drugs, and the feel good pill I know you have your life and I don’t want to intrude Just like to think about you, and your wonderful hue Hope someday we can meet again on better terms When the sun is shining and the rose thorn turns Until that day I will live my life the best I can Respect my neighbors, and be an honest moral man Work for the good, and help those who are less true From the lessons of Jesus the almighty Jew Life has been strange I really must say We are all on this trip together there is no other way But each of us has a choice to be evil, or good Our actions have consequences that is understood So till we meet again I wish you the very best And don’t cry my darling just be better than all the rest

I love your style-however, the scansion could be tickled up a little. If you 'count the beats' as you read the lines, it can help alot.
This is in no way a stick to beat your poem with, no! The story, the sentiment and the flow of thoughts going into this piece are very nice indeed. And another poet is born.
