Just must take a break for a bit
Never knew loving you so much would drive me so unglued
To make me lose sleep and take me on psychedelic trips to Hell’s bottomless pit
It’s been a fun ride, but I must move on from these Billy Joel blues
Don’t you worry it ain’t you my honey that is driving my mind into manic fits
This time it is all my fault, your movie star beauty will always melt my heart into two
We had some good times, and those memories will live on as long as we don’t forget
I will see you again soon when the universe aligns somewhere in the thick dew
For now, just enjoy your new life, but don’t be afraid to take any lifetime bets
