Morning Coffee

Her eyes sparkled their way

Deep into my lonely soul.

Her smile flashed across

A face as radiant as the sun.

Longing to gently reach out

To touch her sensuous beauty

A purely selfish impulse to

Propel me toward total ecstasy

As I was handed a wonderful

Cup of morning coffee!

yes I don't see anyone without coffee first...I even have a small statue of a dog with a cup of coffee in his paw and it says

" Beware of DOG until he has his morning coffee"

It helps for a waitress to be beautiful.

My brother told me to stop off at a Big Boy on my way home where he said his daughter, a college student, was a waitress. When I arrived, I didn't see her in the room. But I waited patiently, and she finally came from the kitchen area and approached a table the with four guys. I was surprised, but not surprised, when they called her, “Sunshine,” and flirted with her.

And then she dropped by my table, smiled, and said, “Hi, Uncle Ron, what are you having?” I could see why she was earning big tips.

Whew! Good thing it's not Decaf! Aromatic poetry that makes Starbucks look weak! To the women who brew us a cup of inspiration!
