Ontology? working through who I am in the world, again.

It's three in the morning again:
                         Not sleeping, wondering about the world
Sleep won't come, again.
Trying not to think about you;
                        trying not to think about me.
Dog is snoring,wish I were him.
                        watching movies about love.
crying.
                         Who am I God?
Why have I walked this path?
                            Why can't I avoid love?
Why does it sink it's fangs into my heart,
                          poisoning me, poisoning you?
I want to be held, I want to be touched.
                           I want to be free and alone,
Can't I find a way to be dead again?
                           or must I be awake til I die.
Why is it, why is it, that I cannot be alone?
                           I was dead, but you revived me;
I am frightened God, where are you in the night?
                           I am afraid of the man in the closet,
who comes to steal my sould in the darkness.
                           Deaden my soul to comfortable numbness;
Deaden my mind- why must I be conscious?
                            To be aware of the darkness
                                       the boogeyman, the killer...
Take my mind away, make me dead again,
                           I forgot that with love comes pain.
Quench the love in my heart
                           Quench the fire in my belly,
                                         Set me free, to find winter again...
to find the cold that numbs and blinds and kills.
