The river goes downstream;
sometimes in green rivulets of peace;
Sometimes with loud roaring rapids,
The river of life dries up too,
societies aridity sucks the life out of it like a hot desert day
Unexpected showers, River comes back to life, gurgling;
Bringing my arid soul back;
like the desert, whose beauty springs forward in hours:
Beauty unexpected, rich in red and yellow -
like the soul that finds richness and sustenance in the world.
The river of life is sometimes cruel, painful,
sometimes overflowing with joy,
Always alive.
Sometimes the heat and wind have just driven it underground
And still it flows.

ebbs, flows, rushes, dry spells...
all that a life is spiritually,
physically, aesthetically, artistically.
