Poem in Spanish. She needs a place to call it home, He becomes that place or perhaps home is a reachable dream.

Y me fui de mi camino…
Buscando una vereda donde construir mi destino...
Y lo vi como a lo lejos,
acariciando mi memoria y mis sueños más remotos.

Era verde y azul al mismo tiempo,
una montaña nacida a la orilla del recuerdo,
pintada al borde de mi canto caprichoso
y en su vientre, en asombro: mi morada.

Y era chica y era inmensa,
porque todo el amor la llenaba
y olía a cedro y al borde de una ventana, mil sonrisas de mañanas
y un rosal llenando el viento
y sus besos por mi cuerpo...

Y era chica y era inmensa
y cada tarde era distinta desde el balcón de mis recuerdos.

Yo no sabía como alcanzarlo
y el no sabía como amarme,
por eso lo vi como a lo lejos
sublime y distinto en cada tiempo.

Ya no sonrie en mi camino,
su risa ha quedado como suspendida
en el intermedio misterioso de los cielos.

Yo que soy la más amada
he quedado plasmada en el lienzo de su tiempo.
Pero hay veces que se asoma y lo veo así,
como a lo lejos,
acariciando mis labios entre mis sueños.
