Crowded lifts
Rushing crowds
Music loud,
No time to eat,
Aching feet,
Crowded trains,
The Old refrains,
Turkey feast
No relief,
Too Big a meal
No real appeal,
Glad when done,
So Life goes on.

Advent comes,
Birth of Son,
Days of praise,
Eves Heavenward raised,
Watchful Night,
Heaven’s Delight,
Holy Birth,
Hope for peace on Earth,
Angels sing,
Wise men bring,
Shepherd s come,
