If I Were Young Again
by Emma L. Willey
If I were young again,
I’d do a lot oft things
I’d try to write a book
That mdse me sprout my wings.
If I were young again
I bet I’d have more fun
Do more spur of the moment stuff
And leave my work undone.
I think I’d learn about more things
To please my family more
I’d spend more time with kids
Before they close the door.
I’d sit and play with them
Instead of doing housework
I’d read with them and play
And have fun all the day.
I think I’d wear more what I want
Instead of following style
And I would do some things
To keep me young a while.
I’d get more exercise I know
I might walk many miles
To keep my figure young longer
T give me many smiles.
If I were young again
And in the prime of life
I’d try to plan ahead
And be a better wife.
I’ve had a good long life
With happiness galore
But if I were young again
I’d do a whole lot more.

Why stop now? Start a new adventure; kick up your heels and live! Gosh, age isn't stopping me...now the old body might have other ideas, but hey...as long as I can, I'm going to go for it!
A whimsical, well penned wish. :) BRAVA!
