I've reached my life's precipice now;
how it evolved, I know not how.
But since I walk by faith, not sight;
I am a sojourner, there is no fright.
When one door closes, another opens;
I must be prepared when this happens.
It's kind of funny how life turns out;
I'm one of the happy ones, without a doubt.
I've found that pearl of great price;
wholesome advice, it'll always suffice.
Although uprooted, follow me it will;
to deal with tribulation, a master's skill.
It doesn't matter where one moves to;
the point not to be missed here is true .
It's only when we change our inner being;
facing the unknown with integrity, that's everything.
I've reached my life's precipice now;
moving back to my home state somehow.
Whatever I've done here, hope it was helpful;
now that I'm heading home, must remain graceful.
