Whether it's financial or not, poverty can bring you closer to God Almighty. It could even be a very great loss!

He'll meet you in your poverty, It's where you'll find his sovereignty. Don't be attached to earthly treasures, They lack the God-giving true pleasures, The Lord will give you lasting liberty.

Loved this. Our goal on this earth should not be acquiring treasures here BUT
only treasures in heaven. After all we are here for such a short time. Heaven is forever!
