On my way south last week, I ran into, not literally, a guy doing 50 in the far left lane on a four lane highway...everybody blew horns,flashed their lights, but still they just sat there like they owned the road..but I found out they were from NY & yes, they do own the road, or so they think...-e-
For some strange reason, the natural rule the most violated is "Keep right except
to pass." It is just a simple courtesy, but some people are either so ignorant or so arrogant to think that they can dwadle where they shouldn't.
And then there are those, young but inexperienced drivers with hot little cars that think of the freeways as racing zones and take unnecessary risks.
Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
