I watched the Sun make
its slow ascent,
bringing life in a new day.
I let my mind drift
in its wake,
back to the years gone by.
"Three years!" I cried,
though no one heard,
at least no one who'd understand.
We'd shared the words
which no one spoke,
and shed the tears no one cried.
I've watched her go a thousand times,
each time it hurts the same.
In the stars I see
her shimmering eyes,
like jewels reflecting flame.
"Three years," I'd said,
for I thought it was;
but now it may be more.
The heart holds tight,
but the mind grows numb;
and time becomes a void.
Oh I still see her face,
and hear her voice,
but cannot hold her again.
So, I watch the Sun
in its rebirth,
and wonder where she has been.

"...So, I watch the Sun
in its rebirth,
and wonder where she has been..."
<tears>
I feel your sadness
Beautiful write of
a love lost..the
yearning in this
write is overwhelming..
If this is reality I
hope things get better
for you.
in its rebirth,
and wonder where she has been..."
Well done.
I feel your sadness
Beautiful write of
a love lost..the
yearning in this
write is overwhelming..
If this is reality I
hope things get better
for you.
