I hurt with you and for you, Asa... and I pray that the LORD will restore all those years the canker worm ate and the locust devoured.
Only Jesus can bind up your deepest wounds and sorrows, sweetie..
He knows, Asa (beautiful name)because He already took all that has or ever will hurt you, to the Cross for you, and died the cruelest death.. to give you a new life!
If you do not know Him.. ask Him into your heart today.. I promise you, dear, He WILL make Himself known.
ALLOW the LORD to be your strength, Asa... He never leaves us and He never lets us down.
Unfortunately, I have learned that there are so many in your shoes these days. I wish you could have had the kind of close family support you needed until you reached this moment of success. I can only say that you are a much stronger person because you did it on your own.
I can relate somewhat, because, when I finally finished my master's degree, only a friend from the apartment house I lived in came to watch the ceremony and, fortunately, take my picture. Otherwise I wouldn't have that picture to share with my family.
Five years have passed. The sequel to the award-winning Chapel of Eternal Love, this book revisits the same couples in the first book, and where the lives have taken them since they left the altar at The Chapel of Eternal Love
In a post-coup America, an Illinois farm boy is drawn into the resistance by his brother's death. Captured, he is given a choice: betray his friends, or the girl he loves will be lobotomized.

The closest time I had to this is when my first wife passed away
She died of cancer at 37 years, she went to be with The Lord that day
Her folks were at a party after the funeral smiling, making chatter
All I wanted to do was cry and crawl into a hole, for nothing mattered
I thought why are these people smiling, putting on mask that was so fake
They did not comfort me, I felt alone, numb and so sad, for God's sake.
I forgive then now for a time that I truly regret
But the impact on my life, I cannot seem to forget.
Peace be with you Asa
