 Friend, what is writing?

     It demands nothing less than

          The rape of my soul.

 

 

Spring cherry blossoms

     Tricked out in electric pinks;

          Is this satori?

 

 

The Infinite Light

     Of Lord Amida Buddha

          Guides me toward home.

 

 

Blood on the sidewalk,

     A robbery is undown;

          A young thief lays dead.

I wouldn't go so far as saying that spilling my soul was rape. I prefer salmon in the trees. That robber certainly was undone.
