Some endeavor keeping lovers apart

Yet love is something else

Ineffably strong and subsistent

  Neither erroneous is the Youngman

Nor is the young woman

They are amalgamated by love

Their special gift from God above

The nitty-gritty is his indigence

But that is not a bound

Nor does it make a sound

Work tooth to nail

Send your spies on a tail

  Even if they are to kill

True love fears nothing –not even demise

Difference in tribes is no hindrance

And has no significance

True love has the proof

By befriending the aloof

Whether Tumbuka; Lomwe; Chewa; Yao or Sena

Love has no eyesight for them all

It is all about inextinguishable innermost feelings

When to fond becomes a zeal

Academic rank is no deal

For God gave love no qualification

So spare the documents of your education

For something that opts for them

Certainly not for love

Disability holds no portion

Nor can it stop its motion

True love is blissful and wonderful

The more it is persecuted

The more miracles are executed

Such is real love –the unbreakable spiritual bond
