Blinded by the truth she tells



have you ever held gold

been the story that is told



Mercy is the gift of a forgiving God



heard voice of an angel on wing

taken a dream to Heaven to sing



Cool is the water found in the fountain



been between living and death

held the water and lost your breath



Second chance raises Lazarus



kept the angel and let guilt go

tasted the purity of new snow



He wept and man reaches a place on the throne



found life worth the ordeal of living

realized that beauty is in the quest of giving



Right hand is man's comfort of having been there

A really great inspirational poem this is, dear friend Walt! So nice to see you writing, again...and that I still have 60% of my sight to be able to read. I'll send you an e-mail after Christmas and bring you up to date on my "maladies", but I'm so thankful for what health I have!
