L----a look into one’s self

O----to overcome something that’s out of each

V----a vision of self within

E----nothing to explain or wonder about,

Love I can’t explain it, but just give thought on its extreme make up of self,

I’ve tried to analyze, and I can not,

Tried to conquer it and I can not,

Looked for it in simply places, like the heart, and in my search have not recognized it’s meaning,

My travels have taken me far and beyond the grasp of what is real and what is not, and still I have not held onto it,

It’s image I see in the eye’s of strangers that share a kiss, a smile, a jester of something beyond them that they give, and I wonder loves words to me,

I once wrote about it, spelled it’s name in my memory, ran to it’s door and yet I still could not open it, a force more greater then me, held me back, and yet still love did not find me in it’s way,

Eager to understand, I read it, cover my body with comfort so that the warmth of it will find it’s way to give me understanding, and still it has not,

I whispered why not me, and I am left alone to wonder, to escape the demons of it’s meaning alone,

Like a mystical illusion I have faded into existence’s alone, and I cry aloud, what secrets may I have ask that have gotten me their,

What is it that covers my heart so deep, that I can not describe the gift of it, share it, love it, and give it with out question,

Alone in the dark I write my memoir, my story of a faded want, that does not knock at my door, what past events must I be the blame for,

And what are is it that I may reap again and again my love,

Love a word that defines time that is to be blamed for its heart, its secret’s and it’s boundaries of life and love lost,

What does it not whisper to keep us adrift from the pain and the tears that we are to shed?

What is it about love that directs us to this path?

A mystery worth discovering, and script we must write and read about, and a thought that does not escape the mind,

And in theory, what is it that we must finally realize before we take the step to love,
