"JELLY ROLL SUPERSTAR!"
by Judy Joy Jones

jelly roll
worlds beloved musician
grammy nominee
an much more

against all odds
reachin your
highest star

in prisons
drugs
sleepin in cars
an now
mr jelly roll
ya becomin
a superstar

the gods
chose you
to shine for those
with no one

visting prisons
where you once were
dryin their tears
offerin hope
to those behind bars

remindin them
"never give up
I've been in prisons
like you
an refused to let
go of my dreams
which are now
comin true
an ill never stop
bein here for you
if i can do it
so can you"

"an for all the homeless
i will work
every second
reminding the world
you are in need
for their open hearts
to lend a hand"

jelly roll
your song 'Save Me'
makes everyone weep
only a spirit soul
thats suffered like you
can open millions
of hearts
like you do

an bunny
your beautiful wife
recognized you
as completing
her purpose in life
helpin you become
all you were
ever meant to be

jelly roll
carving his name
in eternities book of life
is one of
the most
beloved musicians
ever born

Your such a profound angel of great mercy. All the best to this precious man

Jellyroll (interesting name) isn't the first singer to be rescued by a good woman. And he certainly has talent beyond the first song that comes from a long way back, perhaps when he was singing as a child. He appears to have had or has an addictive personality that got him into all that trouble he describes in Save Me. Most in despair in the streets don't have that kind of talent.

I'll let the test of time determine whether he is the "most beloved" or just this year's CMA sensation. He doesn't appear to have a long life ahead of him. But according to Dion… "…but it seems the good they die young…"
