"Homeless Souls
Begging for Love"
by Judy Joy Jones
last night i had a dream
not one person
died homeless
on cold concrete streets
everyone had a pillow
on whch to lay
their precious heads
angels dressed in white
oh so tenderly
washed their
swollen aching feet
and beings of light
nutured bodies
minds and spirit souls
for they had finally
come home
suddendly my soul
took flight
straight to heavens doors
it did soar
and i could see
that the homeless person
dying on earths
coldest concrete streets
was my father mother
sister and brother
and me

What a beautiful rendering! It brought tears to my eyes.
