It's sad when we hear so much tragedy going on in the world. There's so much flooding, killing, hunger and wars. Every time we turn on the news or read a paper. Heart breaking. Thank you for sharing .

A poetically worded acknowledgment of many of us who enjoin you in your thoughts. It's easy to become immune to sorrow with so much tragedy filling our news reports. Around the world, if we might only know and realize Nature's ways, our minds and hearts wouldn't be overwhelmed with so much violence and war. Thank you for posting.

It's interesting how tragedies like this travel like lightning throughout the world now, but become yesterday's news in a couple of days. But for people of the Mystic Camp for girls, the tragedy will be remembered for a very, very long time and grieved.

So many missing still not found.

In 1889, a dam creating a lake for a prominent sporting club for the wealthy above Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was poorly maintained and failed in a flood and killed 2200 people in Johnstown. Most were probably immigrants and quickly forgotten.
