Poetry
· deep breaths.

· apathy takes me.

· long drives.

· nothing more.

· ode to growth.

· living in a dream.

· indecisive.

wind to me.

by Bethany Peterson — Read all 39 poems by Bethany Peterson

I miss you.

Monday, October 28, 2019

The wind is reminiscent of when you’d breathe that you loved me in my ear.
It’s a reminder of the echo that fills your painful void.
Weather is nothing more than feelings expressed.
For how can they perfectly depict emotions, experiences, and memories shared?
Oh, I wish that you could be the wind to me again;
Sweep me off my feet like you did when you were next to me.

Reminds me of the classic song, "The Wind beneath My Wings." I hope it's just poetic expression and not a memory of a real life experience.

Deeply emotional poetry which has uplifting dreams or so it seems.

Very talented poetic expression that is moving and heartfelt.

I could go on...

Wonderfully thought out and exquisitely written . . . To say that I liked this poem would be a gross understatement!
