Poetry
· deep breaths.

· apathy takes me.

· long drives.

· nothing more.

· ode to growth.

· living in a dream.

· that afternoon.

· art.

· music melts.

· blurry vision.

I'm not sure who I am now.

Wednesday, February 5, 2020

I guess I felt like that was me for a long time
two years at least
and now that I’m done
I don’t know the significance of the scars
do I talk about them to friends or family
do I pretend I don’t see them when they’re so hard to ignore
I could feed into the darkness and make more lines
but I hardly have a desire to do so
so I sit and I write.

His Grace

Writing can be cathartic, and good therapy. It can be writing for wellness, so keep on writing, and stay positive.

A realistic poem. We all have scars. Some we like to write about, but some we don't.
