my heart was trying to do the charleston.
1920's.
the beat.
the feather.
the smile.
seems i was always out of time[s].

I like this. It's austere in its brevity, and the contrasting is good. I like the parallels and differences between the gangster imagery and the flapper.
Your write is good, you have talent. I appreciate that. Time is a relative thing, a fleeting moment lost. If from your heart it comes, then welcome here it be.
