Maybe truth skips a generation, generating lies to throw the world askew
just a little
just enough to tilt the machine and let us play for free for a while, while we clutch tightly to that get-out-of-jail-free card, that ‘hands off! it ain’t me!’ card that throws accountability out the window into the little litter-strewn park below where the children are running in circles circulating ‘it’ by tagging one another one by one until no one really is anymore anyway
and does it even matter
when matter itself is nothing more than tiny mindless its running in circles circulating chaos?
