An ethereal pull
to the edge of creation

just to the edge

the spark beyond remains
beyond

out of reach

forever
out of reach

the fruit
yellow and sweet
soothes the thirst

yet that
too
remains

Miracles are mundane and fantastic. Which is more important? Are the secrets of universe more important than the taste of the fruit? Maybe all miracles are the same? I know I can't put a value on what's more important. The fruit I can touch. Thoughtful poem here Debra. Bob
