My thought on building love together

Poem Artwork

We say our love is budding

A flower not yet in full bloom

Roots still burying deeper

Required to support what looms

Strength from the roots

Flowing thru the stem

Continuing feed the budding

So our love can fully bloom

Warmth from the soil

Again thru the stem it flows

Without warmth

Our love will be come cold

Stem strong like steel fiber

With standing all known winds

Never bending or breaking

To assure our love never ends

Strength, warmth, and strong fiber

Revealing to all who view

A bloom now a beautiful flower

Known as “Forever Lasting Love for You”

Keeping true alive needs work and lots of it. Being together and never having to say I'm sorry. Giving each other space but coming together when needed. Staying and hoping for the best in the future together and always a fine day to be had.

I really love this one, Tommy! Without roots, any possibility of a bloom will wither away...never to become lasting. Yeah...i like this one...a lot!

This is very true. I think when people find real love it should be tended to through all kinds of weather. Comparing it to a flower is perfect.

A poem that blooms, just like Spring. Your talent and writing continue to grow and blossom and this poem is proof of that. Well done.

Hi Tommy,
Strange, just before I checked my reviews and saw yours, and then this poem, I was thinking of writing a poem about my rose. UMMMMM. I must be psychic. lol
Your rose is beautiful and so are the words you put with it.
Those country people surely know about nature and the awesomness of it don't they? "Great love poem."
I think you do a great job for a newbee.
All it is about is putting feelings into words. You seem to have a great knack for that.
Keep up the great work.
Blessings,
Judith
