ALONE AGAIN?
Am I alone, again, here?
Might I soon find my way…
Instead of tears…?
A cloud shadows the day,
Lingering, covering the light
Of a sun, seemingly distant…
Not near enough to burn off this night,
Enveloping my weary heart….
As I push against the shadows,
Gaining nothing from the start,
And find my mind unwilling to go,
Insisting on fighting this fight alone,
New words are whispered for me to know:
.
.
“No, not yet”, though worn, my heart is shown
“Only reach to break the clouds apart…
Instead of pushing, part the cloud to find
And reach for, with your wounded heart,
My outstretched hand and calm your mind
While I cleanse your pain
In the time needed, I’ll part
The cloud, bringing My Son in place of the rain
Healing your worn soul.
Yes, and though your sins may
Once again have filled your bowl
Until you feared even to pray,
ALWAYS My hand will bring cleansing and grace
ALWAYS allow My truth into the great liar’s place
ALWAYS want only Me in your heart for all of your days
ALWAYS I am the Lord God, deserving your praise.
ALWAYS know, my child, …I am here,
ALWAYS!"

Alone Again is a wonderful poem, and my thought on seeing the formatting of the last verse especially, was "Gorgeous!"
I'm printing a copy to keep and read over and over.
Sincerely,
Connie
