My problem with unity is where to draw the line between the direction of my own will and the fulfillment of your own purposes…

My consciousness interferes with the sureness of your extrinsic causes that forces me to think and act otherwise. Oh, that’s a moral dilemma – the conflict between my freewill and the finality of the two of us...

But that prompts me to pursue more conscience for the fulfillment of both ends – my own needs, and the goals of our spiritual union. I dare to seek my true ends, as I search for the means to fulfill your life.

Your work of art doesn’t yield to the whole of our probable outcomes. Nor my humane reasons alone will lead us to our unified whole. It’s the synergy, and it’s the harmony, which must be added to our organic reunion. And to me, that’s contingent – upon you.

The ultimate ends of our lives cannot be attained by our reasons alone. But pursuing them requires our belief in the unity through participation in the will of each other – and doing just that is our coming together.
