Halloween when one is five..

Halloween in Montgomery

Wickedy,Hickedy,I am a witch
Traveling the county for sweets to relish..]

Armed with a hat and Dracula at my side,
My sister ,a bunch of grapes,
Clad in balloons that pop all the time...

As we make our approach to the mowned lawns]
Of Montgomery, and ring the bell near the window]
Shrubbery_our aim is to scare and obtain our dessert:]
As we haunt ,with painted faces, the crisp october night.]

Leaves turning to yellow and the sky of greyish hue:]
I hold preciously my miniature pumpkin,
And my plastic broom.

My older brother's attempts, tentative but meek,]
To frighten me with his awkward, vampire teeth,]
Results in my tempestuous anger,
Exploding on the pavement street.

Witchs curse,and throw malignant spells
And if I could turn Oliver into a
Lemon tree,or perhaps a wild honey bee_
I'd summon all my magic power and concentrate]
On him,my wrath.

Nice to read aloud. Brings back memories of being 11 and a witch. the neighborhood bully's comment was 'you don't need that costume to be the witch you are." If I could have cast a spell--- (g) Nice job
