To Ms. Jackie A. . . . See- it did pay off. I love you . . . I thank you . . . I honor you . . .

Sometimes you remind me of a version of myself

Someone I scarcely recognize

A glimpse of me from days gone by
Refreshing youth
But now someone who has learned that the truth
That she thought she had found
Is nothing but a lie
You are in such a hurry to hear those words from me
You look to me to bring you ecstasy
I beg you dear, to just slow down
I am not so sure that I am
What you perceive me to be

I would prefer that you want more than that from me
Sit with me a while and let the world spin away
Watch the skyline twinkle and shine
No fear that you should make a move
I am starting to understand
That I am yours and you are mine
Your persistence is paying off

My Secret Obsession

it's been a year ... your words are more meaningful than they were then and ever so prophetic. i am humbled by the tie that binds and the words woven in gentle braids crowning the life that we came to call our own.

always,

jag

As age and experience add up we don't find the need to rush and scurry for most things we desire whether it be a cup of coffee or the magic of making love. You have captured the twinning of ages perfectly. Well done Blue.
