Her hankie scented with Chanel #5
and the corners were dotted with gloss
moisture still fresh from her tear stained eyes
where she wept at her tragic loss.

Her heart was broken and it pained him so
to witness seemingly irreparable pain.
He would see her through this tale of woe
for her love he sought desperately to gain.

Never again her eyes bulbous and red
but her days  full of roses and wine
fragrant pedals lining bath and bed
and days filled with love sublime.

Oh hurry and flee you dreadful mourning
Be gone he pleaded with his heart and soul.
Allow me to shower her with much adoring
for the lady is more precious than gold.

Very nice indeed, very touching...the hankie with channel number 5 makes me think of my mom...her hankies and all her clothes always had a very distinct wonderful aroma, I think hers was Eternity.

Great write,
Blessings,
