Just a poem about Lakshmi

The Garland of Freedom Hangs Around My Neck – I Have Gracefully Accepted

One day I went to have some tea
As I crossed to the kitchen I spotted Lakshmi
Just sitting on the sofa, the goddess smiled at me
and said “Carry on child, I too would like some tea”.

So I continued to the kitchen wondering what to do
there's a goddess in my house now and no one here to prove it to
Who would ever believe me when I tell them this is true
Lakshmi is on my sofa sitting happily amongst my zoo

The dogs, they both wagged their tails and nuzzled up close to her
and all six of my precious cats in unison began to purr
and as a wonderful scent arose of frankincense and myrrh
Lakshmi placed her hand over top of the puppy's fur.

I was sideways glancing at the scene while I made the tea
I got the cups and saucers on a tray and took it in with me
I sat down right beside her, right beside the goddess Lakshmi
and suddenly my heart it buckled and my soul was released and free

I saw and felt everything in the world as it was meant to be
and Lakshmi, the goddess of Hindus said “Would you like to help me?”
I said “Help you what?” she said “Set all these human free.”
I felt my eyes widen in amazement “Are you really asking me?”
She smiled and disappeared and no more of her could I see.

I know I really saw her, I'm not making any bit of this up
All the animals saw her too including my littlest pup
but it's not just in their eyes, the proof as they all looked up
She took a sip of the tea I made and left lipstick on the cup

There I sat not alone amongst my little zoo
Not alone but shocked and wondering what I'd just been through
“Lakshmi” I called out to her “Of course I'd love to assist you”
but she had disappeared before telling me just what it was I could do

Then her voice entered my fragile little mind
she said “Spend some time, sit and listen beyond the daily grind,
I'm always right here beside you showing you sometimes pushing you to be kind
In this simple little practice all the answers you will find"

The noise of the sirens burst outside and set my neighborhood in a flap
I dropped my tea upon the floor with an obnoxiously loud clap
but my peace, it wasn't broken, not by this worldly crap
I sat back and reached silence as one of the kitties curled up on my lap

I sat there for over an hour in this peace and tranquility
Outside no longer mattered and I really did feel free
And now it doesn't really matter if anyone ever believes me
I gracefully received a Garland of Freedom from the goddess Lakshmi

We all need the Garland of Freedom Around Our Necks. We need something to set us free because the demons come and never let go, so if the Garland of Freedom Around Our Necks can set us free and make us carefree too, then that is what we should have. And as far as seeing the goddess Lakshmi, I believe you because we have to have faith in the existence of our God, His son Jesus, and Jesus' Mother Mary, as well as all of the angels, and it doesn't matter what we call these deities of life in our own languages. We know who they are. This is a wonderful write of an ethereal and esoteric journey. Thank you for taking us with you.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie.

Great advice from the goddess. Thank you for sharing it, Jennifer. Love and best wishes,

To forever wear that Garland with pride, knowing from whence it came....

Be always safe,

I believe you Jenni. I always have this wild dream that if the Gods give me the opportunity I will establish some kind of sanctuary for stray animals. God Bless!

Sincerely,
Regino
