Oh spotted boy, great big loveable toy, always a four legged loving delight.

Bittersweet tears fall as I remember all the years, that you romped and played with the ball.

Sadness envelopes me, I'm so melancholy,sounds of pain, sadness, and loss blow through the trees.

It was not your time, but the cancer your body entwined, until the stairs to us you could no longer climb.

Wretched fate for a velvet headed spotted mate, who thought everyone was great. 

For those who didn't know him, I posted a poem about him on a whim.

This is only a brief ode, until the grief subsides and your story is told, so all can be showed that your spotted love was gold.
