Another woman's opinion... this country was structured to maintain the separation of church and state, a president should be qualified politically and that is the only requirement. Why not a woman for president, if she is qualified? Why not a qualified person (man or woman) of any ethnic origin or color or religion, why does there even have to be a color or gender or religious distinction at all?

I don't know much about politics, but I do think that if a woman wants to try to be President, she should at least be given that opportunity. However, I don't trust Hillary; yet if I had to choose between Obama or Hillary, I'd choose Hillary. I just don't trust Obama; he scares me. (My first choice right now would be Mike Huckabee; we need a man of God, of spiritual convictions, in the White House!! Don't know as of yet though; yet this is the guy I'd choose.)

I usually don't get involved in discussions of religion and politics but I just couldn't resist putting my two cents worth into this one. I consider myself a very devoted Chritian/Catholic but there are issues which my religion teaches that I disagree with. If we intend to mix politics and religion then we must keep an open mind. The Lord said, "be fruitful and multiply." I don't think He meant for woman to remain, excuse the expression, barefoot and pregnant. In today's society the only way most families can survive is to have both parents working and sharing responsibilities. I know the Lord never meant us to be gender or color blind so why not a woman, black man, red man, yellow man, catholic, baptist or even atheist in the white house. If the person running has the right qualifications it doesn't make a difference which religion, color or gender they are. I think I'll stop here. Perhaps I've said too much already. When I was a young boy my ambition was to be a priest but I think I would have made a lousy one. God's Peace, Love and Blessings to Us Always, Paul.

I am not quite sure I am reading this right or not but if you are saying only a white male should hold the position of President, or that women are not meant to have careers other than making and taking care of babies, or that women cannot have enough spirituality as men to become Ministers, priests or for that matter even cardinals and popes than sadly you are still living in the dark ages.

I respect your rights to your opinioin but history and plain intelligence has proven that all are created equal and if we believe in God we must also believe this.
