Tiptoeing on a floor made of Silence

Think...if she can't say that she loves you, she wants too, but she can't...but both of you are the only ones that know the truth...think...if she could tell you...

Poem Artwork

The world was like an ever oppressing vice
trying to squeeze every drop from her life,
she bended down in front of the hurricanes
and yet, she didn’t broke, she did survive,
with the stubbornness that always belonged
to those that hold love, in lonely hearts, alive.

So much to say, thoughts crowding to escape,
but talk she can’t, in front of her lips is a hand
preventing her to tell him how much waiting
it took for her to believe his softly tender eyes
when they stood at the end of life’s rainbow
with only a final fleeing kiss and a goodbye.

God must have some special place up there
for the ones that searched and could never find
the fountain where all their tears were collected
and for every sadness drop they would get a smile,
as together they tiptoe on a floor made of silence
because they found each other at the end of life.

How many loves that could have been long and deep but for three words. I guess that's the reason for eternity. Patrick

Beautiful writing. The irony is painful, but I think that having that kind of love for even a day is worth it.

This is so deeply sad but also so wonderfully promising for to find that kind of love even if it must be kept a secret is still a wonderful blessing that few get to experience. Well done old buddy.

I love you way with English words.
How true is your write. It is the kind of subject that CS Lewis would have found interesting.

I hope there is as I nee think I ever will.

Georg, what big hands you have, love is tears, lots of tears, some cry all their lifes, and curse love for it, your words rain tears, though touched by a rainbow and colourful, thems hurting words.

Sad, heart rending words of one looking for love but not finding what, or in the degree she was looking for throughout her life and now, finding what she had been looking for, all is gone because life is gone. Very well written, sad story.
Your friend, Mark

Some people never find enough love, and some of us have found so much love, yet was it really love after all though it last a lifetime. Good thought here.. LadyJ
