Since the day I first learned to talk to God as my Lord and friend

I find I have no anxiety living each day to its end

He talks to me and asks that I am in constant communication

I confer with him to help make my every decision

I kneel down before him and humbly pray

Prayers of thanksgiving for he gives me faith to live each day

I ask constantly that he not allow my selfish will take command

For if this were to happen my faith could not stand

God uses our constant conversation through prayer to draw us close to his love

So, pray without ceasing, it is a direct line between each of us and God in Heaven above
