I have found there is a line that is often used erroneously
When a friend shares his heartaches we tend to answer wrongly
 
“I understand how you must feel, this sometimes is not the best thing to say
Alas if you have not experienced his problem it’s better to simply bow your head and pray
 
If you did not suffer first-hand what his ordeals have visited upon him
You can never begin to understand these hurts and the impact of them
 
This is why our Lord Jesus Christ visited this earth, born as a man
He came to suffer and to overcome so he would know we can
 
So take your troubles to the Lord he will understand
For he was born of flesh and walked in flesh throughout the holy land
