*The horror of being captured by self-absorption* *Is that it finds its way to no conclusion* *The sun is shining but will you get sunburn?* *If you run in a race will it be one that you won?* *If you try and fail will you be scorned?* *Would it have better had you not been born?* *When going to a party, what clothes should you wear?* *There is someone you like but do you dare?* *Oh, the challenges of life can make one swear* *Let us forget all the “what if’s” and just plain live* *If you let yourself try you have much to give*

Depression is the root of self-indulgence. Some of us have a chronic case of it. One very easy way to combat depression, ask JESUS to help you. It works for me better than "Prozac". Excellent write, Lew.
