Stop the clock; better yet turn the clock around somehow
If I could only live all my yesterdays’ with the knowledge I have now
The mistakes I’ve made could be erased, in fact they never occurred
My memory would be of happiness and I would not have breathed that angry word
The day before yesterday would become tomorrow
I could repeat the good things and somehow divert the sorrow
For you see, Hindsight is twenty- twenty. This is a fact
And I would know the havoc created by that single thoughtless act
Instead of growing older day by day I would regain my youth
But even in my youth I would better know the truth
The cycle of life gives us this life and death will become our doom
But if the clock ran backwards one day I would reenter my mother’s womb
Your writes always stimulate my thinking, Lew. I like that. Hope you don't mind my ramblings, though. :)
Hugs,
Lena
GOD BLESS YOU

As for me... I take hold of my mistakes, make ammends where applicable and understand, it is the pain within the mistakes which have made me who I am, today. Each day, I am given the chance to love more than I did the day before... each day, I try to do just that.
To do it all over again? No, thank you. I'm good with what I have been given... including every painful moment. Without the rain who can enjoy the sun?
Healing Hopeful Hugs~
