Springtime awakening

As a child we called April first, “April fool’s day.” But April always reminded me of a time of revival, renewal and restoration. This is how I see April.

*Have you not noticed the sun rising earlier each day?* *The Easter lilies have enthusiastically crept out to meet its rays* *The temperature slowly is rising though there may be some showers* *But from these will emanate those beautiful May flowers* *The morning chill will soon make way for the warmth of spring* *And our mornings are now adorned with birds that sweetly sing* *We watch as buds slowly form on the plants and trees* *Their limbs move gently incited by a gentle morning breeze* *The world around us awakens and resumes its ways* *The springtime calls and the earth obeys* *The glory of God shows in yet another resurrection* *As he calls the Earth to restore to life and it does so to perfection* *Easter is next*

THERE IS NO WAY ONE CAN REALLY APPRECIATE THE CHANGE IN SEASONS AND NOT THINK OF 'HIM' WHO ORCHESTRATES IT. IT IS SO BEFITTING THAT THE CELEBRATION OF EASTER, RESURRECTION DAY, COMES IN APRIL.
