He’s young, tall and slim,
muscled, just enough not to look
like those pin-up guys

he’s bright and speedy
doesn’t like to repeat
what he’s told me twice

he’s as handsome as
a movie star, but doesn’t make
a fuss about his looks

he’s been spotted
by a film agent
and models at times

he’s also acted
in a TV series
but never informed me

‘keep mum about it’
he says to me once I knew
‘no publicity’

He’s always dreamt
of becoming an actor
but works in fashion

his managers like him
and so does most of his team
he’s kind and efficient

so much so that
some find him too reserved
while others too serious

people don’t always know
how to evaluate him
which is disturbing

he’s so honest
they take advantage of him
and he feels uneasy

that young man is now
married to a lovely girl
they have a blue-eyed cat
and a baby boy
he’s the son I adore
