We walked down the beaten path

we had chosen together

unaware of where this trail would head

or where our love would end

we were just beginning

trusting our shared thoughts

under the Guava and Macadamia trees

the sun was setting to the East

nightfall approaching slowlyl

we stopped to hug the dreadlock Banyan tree

our shadows flowing together becoming one

towering magically like the cascade

tumbling towards her ocean

we knew, one day this path would

reveal our secrets

like the white sand on the beach

giving up its' life upon the shore

then racing back again to her ocean

the waves, telling me about your promising smiles

and your frigid nipples

erected in the cold water

both of us dancing with laughter

crying with joy in celebration of our togetherness

of our love

of our womanhood.

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.

Another Way of Being by Sion Liscannor

A (shockingly) truthful autobiography with elements of fantasy, philosophy, and historical fiction.
