This is about my Dad who passed away in 1998. The pipes now belong to my son.
DAD'S PIPE By: Elizabeth Dunaj The room smelled sweet A cherry blend That came from a pipe Held by its end. This room full of smoke Was always seen Made from a man Some thought was mean. But I knew better Deep in my heart, This man was full of love Right from the start. He'd smoke that pipe To relax and unwind,, From a very noisy factory He worked at a long time. Now the pipe sets idle no more smoke is seen but the cherry blend smell is in every beam. Copyright � 2000 by Elizabeth Dunaj All rights reserved.

Isn't it odd, how a mundane object can bring
back so many memories? I loved having my Mom's
coat, which kept the smell of her cologne and
cigarettes for a while. It was so comforting.

My uncle was a pipe smoker, his house always smelled of his blend too...thanks for the memories...(my pipe has a bit of a different blend in it...;) Ed
