If we cut our ecological footprint in half, but double the population, we're still killing the planet at the same rate.

Human future will require
Reduction of ecological footprint,
Perhaps by half — or even higher.
By 2050 maybe — or so we’re bent.

Unlimited, people counts will rise —
To more than double! — Oh my!
Earth smashing human size
Will still make the planet die!

Same old, but there’s a posterity debt.
Next generations — to be treated fair,
Population policy must be set.
Let’s do it — or don’t we care?
